Rollover Motorcycle Wreck Kills Riverview Man: Police
A motorcyclist died of his injuries caused from being thrown from his vehicle after a truck rammed into him, authorities said.
HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — A 75-year-old Riverview man has died from injuries experienced to his body when he was ejected from a motorcycle in a crash on U.S. Highway 41 March, 11, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
A 32-year-old Tampa driver drove a truck westbound on Diana Toledo Amedia Road at 12:15 p.m. when authorities said he turned left onto U.S. 41 southbound and slammed into the motorcycle. The victim was thrown from the motorcycle after it rolled over from the crash, investigators said.
The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital. Detectives said he died from the crash injuries Tuesday.
