3. Boca Raton Lotus Palm HOA Faces Defamation Lawsuit From Former Racquet Sports Director (bocapost.com) — A former racquet and fitness director at Boca Raton's Lotus Palm community has sued the HOA, its management company, and three board members, claiming a community-wide email falsely implied he stole association funds. The newly filed case in Palm Beach County Circuit Court seeks damages, a public retraction, and an injunction, and no responses from the defendants had been posted as of the latest records.
   

4. Diners and Pooches Respond to Boca PD Foundation Fundraiser (bocaratontribune.com) — A dog-friendly fundraiser at Lazy Dog in west Boca helped raise money for the Boca Raton Police Foundation, with 15% of Saturday's checks donated to support local police equipment and training. Boca's new police chief, local business leaders, and residents turned out, and the foundation debuted its 2027 K-9 calendar, which also supports Boca Raton police initiatives.

Boca Raton Nursing Home Faces Lawsuit Alleging Falls and Delayed Infection Care (bocapost.com) — A Boca Raton rehabilitation and nursing center on Verde Trail South is being sued by a resident's husband, who alleges she suffered repeated falls, delayed infection treatment, and serious spinal injuries while in care.
