• Florida resident charged with selling Hawksbill sea turtle for $2,700 (americanbazaaronline.com) — A Boynton Beach police officer helped uncover an alleged illegal sale of a critically endangered hawksbill sea turtle shell that was advertised online for $2,700. Investigators traced the listing to a Lake Worth Beach resident, seized the shell under a warrant, and confirmed its protected status. The man now faces a third-degree felony under state and federal wildlife laws.
