The Boynton Beach Police Department says he’ll return without back pay or seniority, despite earlier efforts by city commissioners and community members to block his return. 
2. 12-year-old describes seeing friend struck by lightning in Boynton Beach (cbs12.com) — A child was struck by lightning while playing soccer in a Boynton Beach neighborhood, prompting a rapid response from Palm Beach County Fire Rescue and a rush to a trauma center. A 12-year-old friend described hearing a deafening boom, seeing the child collapse, and watching the boy’s father immediately start CPR as neighbors called 911 and another lightning strike hit nearby.

Tri-Rail expanding registered parking rules to 3 more stations this year (wptv.com) — If you park at the Boynton Beach Tri-Rail station, you’ll soon need to register your vehicle or risk tickets, booting, or towing.
