20-Year-Old Suspect Wanted In Murder Of Manatee Co. Man Arrested In Sarasota
A warrant was issued for Jamal Christopher Calloway in connection with the victim's shooting death this week.

MANATEE COUNTY, FL – The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office reported an arrest was made today in Sarasota of a 20-year-old suspect in a murder investigation of a man found dead Tuesday afternoon in Parrish.
Jamal Christopher Calloway was wanted and a warrant issued in connection with the shooting death of Joseph Allen, 22, whose body was found Tuesday afternoon just off Old Tampa Road, according to deputies.
Detectives believe Allen was shot and killed in the early morning hours of Tuesday at a residence on the 2600 block of 15 Avenue East in Palmetto.
