3 Injured In Targeted Palmetto Shooting, Manatee Deputies Say

PALMETTO, FL — Three people were shot Sunday night inside a Palmetto home in what the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office believes was a targeted incident, authorities said.

Deputies responded to a 911 call just before 10 p.m. reporting that multiple people had been shot at a residence in the 2100 block of 3rd Ave. E.

Investigators found three adults suffering from gunshot wounds when they arrived. All three were taken to a local hospital for treatment and are expected to recover, the sheriff’s office said.

No arrests have been made. The investigation remains active.
