4 Kids, 4 Adults Injured In Charlotte County Rollover Crash: FHP
Among those injured in a crash on S.R. 31 in Charlotte County were four children and two adults from Bradenton, Florida Highway Patrol said.
CHARLOTTE COUNTY, FL — Four children and four adults were injured in a rollover crash in Charlotte County Saturday morning, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.
While traveling south on State Road 31 around 9:30 a.m., an SUV driven by a 32-year-old Bradenton woman crossed over the center line, entering the northbound travel lane and hitting the front left of another SUV driving north, FHP said.
The second SUV, driven by a 32-year-old Labelle woman, rotated and overturned in the northbound shoulder of S.R. 31. She was critically injured in the crash, while her passenger, a 33-year-old Fort Myers woman, suffered serious injuries.

The driver of the first SUV and four of her passengers — children ages 2, 6, 10 and 15 years old, who are also from Bradenton — suffered minor injuries. Another passenger, a 36-year-old Bradenton man, was seriously injured in the crash.
