Star Wars Day

The Good Liquid Brewing Co., 4824 14th St. W., Bradenton, will host Star Wars Day Friday, May 4 from noon to 11 p.m., featuring craft beer, live music with Justin Layman from 7 to 10 p.m., Star Wars movies playing in the taproom all day and the JolliMax Asian/American food truck from 5 to 9 p.m.

Cinco De Mayo Party

Main Street Live, a downtown block party on Old Main Street, 400 12th St. W., in downtown Bradenton hosted by the Old Main Street Merchants Association, will present a Cinco de Mayo party Saturday, May 5 from 5 to 10 p.m.

Family Night at the Museum

South Florida Museum, 201 10th St. W., Bradenton, will host Family Night at the Museum Saturday, May 5 from 3 to 7 p.m.

This month’s theme is “Fight, Flight and Family in the Wild World!”

Families will be admitted at a reduced price: adults, $9; children 4-12 $7; children 3 and under free; and seniors 65 and up $8.

There will be hands-on activities, a special movie presentation of Disney’s The Jungle Book (2016) along with the museum’s manatee presentation and Planetarium show.

ArtWalk

The Village of the Arts, an eclectic live-work community made up of colorful historic cottages at 1113 12th St. W., Bradenton, will host an ArtWalk Friday, May 4 from 6 to 9:30 p.m.

Classic Car Show

The St. Joseph's Knight of Columbus Council 5604 will host a car show on Saturday, May 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 2704 33rd Ave. in Bradenton. There will be food, prizes and a 50/50 raffle. To register a car for $10, call (941) 371-1061. Parking is a $5 donation and each person in the car will receive a raffle ticket for drawings.
