$5K Reward Offered In Fatal Shooting Near Bradenton Nightclub: Sheriff

BRADENTON, FL — An additional $5,000 reward is being offered for information about an Aug. 6 fatal shooting near a Bradenton nightclub in August, according to a Manatee County Sheriff’s Office news release.

Dwight Evans, Jr., 33, was gunned down in the parking lot of Gold Rush Arcade, 5107 14th Street W., around 2:30 a.m. The lot is used for overflow parking for the nightclub Touch of Class, the agency said at the time of the shooting.

Detectives believe someone saw the occupants in a vehicle that drove away from the scene that night.

Anyone with information on the case is urged to contact the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office at 941-747-3011.

Manatee County Crime Stoppers already offered a reward up to $3,000 for information leading to an arrest in the case. MCSO is partnering with Crime Stoppers to offer an additional $5,000.
