MANATEE COUNTY, FL — Eight stores were cited for selling alcohol to minors during an underage drinking sting operation, according to a Manatee County Sheriff's Office news release. The agency's Special Investigations Division partnered with Drug Free Manatee to conduct Saturday's countywide sting targeting businesses that sell and/or serve alcohol. Detectives visited 68 establishments throughout the county.
