Aldi Opens New Grocery Store In Manatee County

The sixth Aldi grocery store in Manatee County celebrates its grand opening in Parrish on Thursday.

PARRISH, FL — Manatee County welcomes its newest grocery store this week: Aldi will host its grand opening in Parrish at 8810 U.S. Highway 301 N. on Thursday.

“We’re gonna become your new favorite spot,” the grocer wrote on its website. “Our grand opening is right around the corner and we’re stocking our shelves with aisle after aisle of products you love. We’ve got everything from fresh produce delivered daily to everyday essentials you can never have enough of. So circle the date (July 27) and come experience a better way to shop.”

The new store will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The store is currently opening for “a sneak peek," according to its website. The ribbon cutting will take place Thursday at 8:30 a.m.

Shoppers can enter for a chance to win a $500 store gift card between Thursday and Sunday. The first 100 customers will also receive a Golden Ticket that could be worth up to $100. Free shopping totes are also available in limited quantities.

This is the brand’s sixth location in Manatee County. Aldi currently has four stores in Bradenton and one in Palmetto.

Aldi has nearly 2,000 stores across 36 states, according to the company website. It’s known for its quality and affordability.

There are several other grocery stores planned in the county.

Sarasota-based Detwiler’s Farm Market is expanding into West Bradenton with its sixth location. Sprouts opened its first location in the county last month in Bradenton. And Trader Joe’s has plans to move into Lakewood Ranch.
