Anna Maria Oyster Bar Opens on Bradenton Beach's Historic Bridge Street Pier

Locally owned, multi-award-winning restaurant Anna Maria Oyster Bar is pleased to officially announce the opening of its newest location at 200 Bridge Street on Bradenton Beach. AMOB on the Pier expands the popular restaurant’s presence in the region, joining Anna Maria Oyster Bar Halfway Deck and Lounge Landside, 6906 14th Street West, Bradenton; Anna Maria Oyster Bar Cortez, 6696 Cortez Road West, Bradenton; and Anna Maria Oyster Bar Ellenton, 1525 51st Avenue East, Ellenton.

Set at the entrance of Bradenton Beach’s Historic Bridge Street Pier, the 158-seat AMOB on the Pier offers counter service to encourage a casual vibe and features a full bar as well as select dishes off the restaurant’s award-winning menu. Breakfast is available daily from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., and happy hour runs every day from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Anna Maria Oyster Bar Managing Partner Tim Bingham will oversee operations of the new restaurant. Bingham has served as general manager of the Anna Maria Oyster Bar Ellenton location since 2008. Joining Bingham’s leadership team is Michael Madden and Amanda Reedy. “Some of our most experienced team members are in place to ensure that all our guests receive the excellent food and service that so many have come to know and love from the Anna Maria Oyster Bar,” said Bingham.

Madden first worked as a busser, expediter and server, then as the front-of-house manager and the assistant kitchen manager at the restaurant’s Ellenton location. Reedy began her career with Anna Maria Oyster Bar in 2010 as a hostess, while completing culinary classes at Manatee Technical College and the State College of Florida. Her roles at the restaurant have also included server, expediter, training server, cook, caterer and more. Reedy was promoted to management in 2015.
