Arrest Made in June Attempted Murder Case
A K-9 officer ran into the suspect Thursday and made the arrest.

A Bradenton man wanted in connection with a June shooting has been booked into the Manatee County Jail.
Bradenton K-9 Officer Jason Taulbee ran into the suspect, Eugene Marshall, 26, in the 500 block of 19th Avenue West on Thursday and made the arrest, an email to media stated.
Marshall, 26, was charged with attempted first-degree murder. He was also charged for being a felon in possession of a firearm, police said.

The incident that led to Marshall’s arrest took place around 12:50 a.m. June 10 when a shooting was reported in the 2000 block of 13th Street West. Police say the victim and Marshall got into an argument outside a home and Marshall pulled out a handgun, firing one shot into the victim’s abdomen.
The victim stepped into the home and collapsed. Someone else in the home called 911.

Marshall was being held at the Manatee County Jail Thursday afternoon without bond.
