• Gulf Islands Ferry Adds New Stop To Expand Anna Maria Island Service (patch.com) — Residents around Bradenton and Anna Maria Island will soon have a more convenient way to reach Coquina Beach, as the Gulf Islands Ferry adds a new stop at the Coquina Beach boat ramp starting Sept. 2. The expanded schedule between the Historic Bridge Street Pier and Coquina Beach aims to ease traffic, reduce parking headaches, and keep thousands of cars off local roads while offering affordable, year-round water transit.
