BRADENTON, FL -- With the new school year beginning, organizations are hosting events to help students get ready.
Back-To-School Pool Party
West Bradenton Baptist Church will host a pool party at the G.T. Bray Pool, 5508 33rd Ave. W., Bradenton, Sunday, Aug. 12 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
This is especially for kids entering fifth grade and under. Pizza and drinks will be provided.

Back-to-School Nights
Gullett Elementary School, 12125 44th Ave. E., Bradenton, will host a back-to-school night to give students a chance to meet their teachers and bring in their school supplies on Aug. 9 from 4:30 to 7 p.m.
Braden River Elementary School, 6125 River Club Blvd., Bradenton, will host its back-to-school night Aug. 9 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. so students can meet their teachers and drop off classroom supplies.
