Bank Robbery Suspect Arrested: Bradenton Police
A man who robbed a Regions Bank in Bradenton Thursday morning is in custody, Bradenton police said.
BRADENTON, FL — The suspect in Thursday morning’s robbery of Regions Bank at 5009 Manatee Ave. is in custody, Bradenton police said.
Jaquez Barnes, 23, was arrested Thursday around 6 p.m. He was booked into Manatee County Jail.
Barnes passed a note demanding money to a bank teller around 9:30 a.m. He left the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.

During the robbery, he didn’t display a weapon and no one was injured. Several customers were in the bank at the time.
