Master Sandsculptor Brian Wigglesworth will be our instructor on June 30,
9 a.m., Anna Maria Island for the Military Children's Sandsculpting class and
lunch. Meet us at 9 a.m. on Anna Maria Island for the Military Children's
Sandsculpting class. Look for the red, white and blue balloons at the Sandbar

, Bradenton. Charlotte Stone Crabs vs Marauders. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and game begins at 6:30 p.m. There will be fireworks after the game! Free tickets are available for military personnel and their families. Contact Linda Craig at 941-782-0748. They’re going fast! MOTS will also have a mail call table set up at the game to write postcards to our local deployed troops.

Tunes 4 Troops, an event planned and hosted by local soldier, Lance Biddle. Proceeds go to Manasota Operation Troop Support! Noon to midnight, 4800 17th St E, Ellenton (across the street from the Crab Trap II). The event is across the street from the Crab Trap 2, look for red, white and blue. This is an event you DO NOT want to miss. This a concert to help raise money for MOTS. Budweiser on site with beer for sale. Admission is $5, and a VIP pass is $35. The schedule of events:
1–3 p.m.: Smokey Daniels Band
3–3:30 p.m.: Rafferdy
3:30–5 p.m.: Will Scott
5–5:30 p.m.: Honor Guard Ceremony and Memorial
5:30–7:30 p.m.: Night Train
7:30–8 p.m.: Rafferdy
8-9:30 p.m.: Knightfall
9:30–11 p.m.: Night Train
This is a family-friendly event. Feel free to bring out lawn chairs and blankets. All active or retired military, firemen, police and EMT receive free admission with proof of service.
Saturday July 14
Packing party for the troops at 9 a.m., 4301 32nd Street W., C-20,Bradenton. Everyone is welcome to come and pack a box full of love and goodies for a local deployed troop in the Middle East. As I always say: "Don't be late or you will miss it!"
