ABC 7 to Introduce "7 Who Care"
ABC 7 is introducing "7 Who Care," a public service program to recognize the heroes among us.
The United Way of Manatee County, Sarasota and South Sarasota have agreed to lend their resources and expertise on volunteerism in conjunction with ABC 7's “7 Who Care,” a public service program to recognize the heroes among us.
To coincide with National Volunteer Month, ABC 7 is airing a public service
announcement with News Anchors Scott Dennis and Lauren Dorsett throughout April, encouraging viewers to visit the station’s website, www.MySuncoast.com and nominate an outstanding volunteer. Winners will be selected in May and recognized at a luncheon on Monday, July 9th.
The "7 Who Care" honorees will also be profiled on ABC 7 News in July.
