Another Local Troop Weighs In On The Difference We Make To Our Soldiers

Another Local Troop Says "Thank You."

A thank you note from a local deployed troop arrived at Manasota Operation Troop Support this morning via email. I want to share it with our friends and neighbors who have helped MOTS help our troops.

"I would like to take some time to personally thank everyone involved in sending me the boxes filled with a bit of HOME.  What you do for all of us down range is amazing and your personal sacrifice mirrors ours.  I would like to thank Linda for taking my family under her wing and providing such lavish presents to my children for Christmas.  No words that I have, or can realize at this moment even come close to the warmth I feel in my heart, knowing that people like you exist in the society I have taken the oath to defend.  You made Kara, Gabriel, Elizabeth and Me feel the holiday spirit.  I look forward to meeting you in person upon my return and giving you a big hug.

With all the affection and gratitude that I can muster,

MAJ Charles Mopps"

We appreciate the time you took from your busy day to send us an email, Major.

American Legion Post 312 was responsible for the largest amount of money raised to buy toys for the deployed troops' children in this area for Christmas.

Happy Holidays, Major, and may you return home safely, and soon to your family.
