Are Packages Still Being Sent To Local Deployed Troops?
Is MOTS still sending care packages to local deployed troops?

The Stephens family is finally together again as Michael has returned from his tour of Iraq. I have posted a photo of his daughter sinking into his lap on his first day home. Thank you to his wife Jen for sharing this photo with us all. It was a long, hard deployment for their whole family.
We celebrate every homecoming of every single one of our troops. And although our news headlines state that all military personnel will be brought home from Iraq by Christmas, I want to remind you all that we DO still have more troops deployed to Kuwait and Afghanistan.
And MOTS is receiving new troops deploying to Afghanistan almost every day.

The mission of MOTS has not changed. The needs have not changed either. Care package items and monetary donations are still needed every month.
One easy way to help keep our troops supplied with goods is to go to gulfcoastgives.org and donate whatever amount you choose to our fundraising project. You don't even have to leave your easy chair!

Another way to help is to stop by Representative Greg Steube's office in Lakewood Ranch with a donation of beef jerky, Slim Jims, or Clif Bars to put under his MOTS Christmas Tree Food Drive for our troops.
You are all welcome to our Packing For The Troops Party this Saturday, November 5th at 9am. No experience neccesary.
Let us all celebrate every troop's homecoming, but remember those who are still far from home in harm's way.
