Arts & Eats Construction Update

This old 1925 bungalow is undergoing a major facelift thanks to our contractor, Mike Lynch from Suncoast Builders.  

They've been reinforcing the floor, celing, and framing the doorways and new room openings over the past week.  At this point, the living room, dining room, and front bedroom are all one room. This will be the main dining area of the restaurant.

There was damage to the supports in part of the floor from termites over the years, so reinforcements were necessary to enable heavy objects and people to occupy the space safely. Today we expected new doors to be installed.  

We're thrilled with the progress and will keep you up to date as we progress.
