Baseball Can Be Labor-Intensive

Tuesday night was Season Ticket Holder appreciation night. Season ticket holders and their guests, were invited to a 'open house' at McKechnie field.

Food and drinks were to be had by everyone. Laughter was in the air, the new sound system was rocking the tunes, and a baby was born.

Did you read that right? Yes you did.

A woman went into labor at the front gates of McKechnie field and luckily for her, the Marauders Senior Director of Florida Operations Trevor Gooby, was there to assist in the delivery. The woman had a baby boy and far as I know, everything is fine.

Wow! A man of many talents for sure. Trevor is the nicest person you ever want to meet and it seemed right for that baby to have his first meeting with Trevor.

Word is, the baby will be named 'Marty' (after the team mascot) and already has a place held on the Marauders roster, once he is old enough! (j/k)

Congrats to all the fans for being supportive to the Marauders/Pirates organizations and congrats to the new mom as well.
