Bradenton Karate Students Bring Home Awards From Southwest Martial Arts Open

Bradenton Karate students from Dojo Martial Arts attended the Southwest Martial Arts Open on September 8th bringing home multiple awards.

The Karate students from Bradenton’s Dojo Martial Arts are at it again!

Dojo Martial Arts Storm Team Members, Omar Schwanzer, Adam Schwanzer, Noah Tratz, Teddy Siedlecki, Kayla Siedlecki, Andres Vega, Tony Dakel, Maces Reynolds, Rick Gonzales, Cameron Gonzales, Jarron Langley, Giana Bisceglia, and Tyler Abbott made their Sensei, Master Kevin Bergquist very proud. The group brought home 30 trophies and 8 medals from the Southwest Martial Arts Open Saturday, Sept. 8 in Port Charlotte.

“We pride ourselves in being much more than a ‘karate school’. We are an educational facility with a set, long-term curriculum, with clearly defined goals, to keep our students right on course as they develop and grow on their way to Black Belt Excellence.” Said Kevin Bergquist, owner of Dojo Martial Arts. “I am very proud of all of my students and their accomplishments.”

Dojo Martial Arts is hosting a two-day  “Meeting of the Masters Seminar” Oct. 12 and 13 featuring a panel of 16 Masters and Grandmasters. Those who attend will get a Martial Arts Experience that they never forget! All proceeds from the event will be donated to help local abused and at-risk kids.
