Free Food For Active Military At The Sarasota County Fair

The sign said it all, "We Support Our Troops, Active Duty Military, Free Food & Drink."

Spotting that sign in front of an Elephant Ear food wagon at the Sarasota County Fair on Sunday I had to go straight to the man with the big green apron working the counter. After introducing myself to Mark Smith I thanked him for showing his patriotism and support for our military.  When I asked him why the Sarasota based family business decided to make this offer to the military his answer was quiet, short and simple. "Because they're helping us out and protecting us."

Well done and well said.

This local family business is showing some real hometown, USA, love of Country spirit.

On behalf of all of our active duty military and their families I say, "Thank You!"

And if you and your friends and family are out at the Sarasota County Fair, which runs through March 25th, stop by and tell these people you appreciate their patriotism and give them some of your food business; the elephant ears with strawberry topping were delicious!
