Heavenly Voice Via Cell Phone at December Packing Party

A heavenly phone call arrived in the middle of our Packing Party for the Troops this month. "Angel Bob," a friend of MOTS and all Veterans last year, called to say he was donating another $5,000 to Manasota Operation Troop Support this season. What a huge holiday blessing!

After hitting the "end call" button on my phone, I was so exited that I stopped all of the volunteeers as they worked in the warehouse packing up food and goodies for the troops. I shushed everyone and then announced the gift and cheers went up to the ceiling and beyond.

From food to furniture, and from gas cards to special gifts for children, "Angel Bob" has made a huge difference in the lives of our local veterans.
