The Manasota Operation Troop Support monthly packing party is Saturday, June 9th, at 9am. If you've ever been to one you know it looks like a lot of "monkey business!" Big kids, little kids, grandmas and papas reach arms and hands out wide to pick and pack just the right treats and socks and magazines for a local troop.  Some of them are packing for a relative serving far from home. Others are packing for strangers and find satisfaction in showing a military troop that they are cared for and not forgotten in the bustle of everyday life.

Everyone is welcome to come to 4301 32nd Street West, Suite C20 in Bradenton to pack a personalized box for a local deployed troop. No experience required, just a loving heart and a helping hand.

The photo shows this months' packing slip that you will put in the box you pack, with your name and email address if you wish.  Many of our volunteers have received very special thank-you notes from the troops from these packing slips. 

It's a patriotic and very fulfilling way to start your weekend and it only takes 30 minutes. But don't be late, the "monkey business" does not wait!
