"Taking Care of Our Own" is what we've renamed this Gulfcoastgives project as it has about 12 days to go and the Valentine's boxes have been mailed. But one hundred boxes for March are sitting in the Manasota Operation Troop Support office waiting for postage donations. They are full of handknit hats and helmet liners, chemical handwarmers, socks, and extra protein for the frigid conditions overin the middle east right now. We need some givers!!! Bruce Springsteen sang the words, "We Take Care of Our own" on the Grammy's this week and I felt like he was talking about our very own efforts to support our United States Miiltary. So I'm borrowing his phrase and hoping that many of you out there feel the same way.
