This Old Bungalow installs Kitchen Equipment

Arts & Eats Restaurant and Gallery in the Village of the Arts is very close to opening.

This has been another very exciting week at the future home of Arts & Eats Restaurant and Gallery in the Village of the Arts.  This week, Jim installed all of the restaurant equipment in the kitchen.

He can almost taste the feel of cooking in that space.  My cousin Jeffrey, owner of Bush Refrigeration, donated a fabulous countertop refrigeration unit and an icemaker to our business.  We're so grateful for all the love and help of our family and friends throughout this process.

The people of Suncoast Builders continue to do an incredible job, including painting most of the main dining room golden yellow. Jim was inspired to paint the room this color when we visited Monticello last year.  Jefferson painted his dining room this sunny color.  It's beautiful, cheerful and happy.

Our phone and internet lines were installed by Brighthouse this week too.  We're gearing up for the certificate of occupany inspection this Friday and then the inspection from the state for the restaurant license.

We're so excited!  We'll see you on or after September 20th.  That's our "soft" opening.  Call us for reservations Wednesday through Saturday from noon to 8 p.m. at 941.201.6647.
