Wayne Soares Brings Anti-Bullying Campaign Tour To Florida

According to the National Education Association, bullying occurs once every seven minutes and one in three students report being bullied weekly in schools across the United States. Bullying expert Wayne is headed to Sarasota/ Bradenton, FL this week as part of his National Anti-Bullying Campaign Tour to combat this increasingly prevalent problem in America’s schools. Having three children of his own, Soares is known as a “dad on a mission,” trying to wipe out bullying throughout the country and our schools.

Bullying is a problem that hits close to home for Soares. As a young child, Soares was raised by his grandmother and without a father figure; he was bullied a lot by his peers and sometimes even by adults.

Soares will be featured as a bullying expert for a television segment/ special on ME TV on Tuesday, March 5. Following the taping, Soares will be speaking at two local Florida schools. The Florida school tour will include an appearance at Saint Stephens School from 8:15am - 9:40am and Ballard Elementary School at 1pm.

This tour is sponsored by local businessman and good friend Zack Kallis andmade possible through the outstanding efforts of Bradenton Mayor, Wayne Poston, Judge John F. Lakin and Attorney Andre Perron.

His anti-bullying campaign has impacted thousands of kids over the years, and he is looking forward to spreading his message throughout the state of Florida. This is his first time speaking in Florida and he looks forward to future appearances and tours.
