Bradenton Blues Festival Will Return To Riverwalk In 2022, Announces Artist Line-Up

The Bradenton Blues Festival returns to downtown Riverwalk in 2022 after being held at LECOM Park during the past two years due to COVID-19.

BRADENTON, FL — The Bradenton Blues Festival announced it will return to the Riverwalk Pavilion at Rossi Park for the 11th annual event scheduled for Dec. 2-4.

For the past two years, the festival, which is organized by Realize Bradenton, has been held at LECOM Park to allow for social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Tickets for the festival will go on sale Feb. 22.

Realize Bradenton also announced the line-up for the festival.

Dec. 2 will feature the Gabe Stillman Band, Harper and Midwest Kind, and Dikki Du and the Zydeco Krewe.

Meanwhile, festival headliner Ana Popovic, an award-winning blues guitarist, singer and songwriter, headlines the event on Dec. 3. With more than 20 years as a touring musician, she’s released 12 albums – nearly all of them reaching the top of the Billboard Blues Charts – and has been nominated for seven Blues Music Awards.

Dustin Arbuckle and the Damnations, Nora Jean Wallace, and the Blood Brothers featuring Mike Zito and Albert Castiglia will also take the stage on Dec. 3.

A Blues Brunch at Mattison’s Riverwalk Grille is scheduled for Dec. 4. The performers for this brunch will be announced at a later date.

COVID-19 protocols for the event will be determined by local health guidelines at the time of the festival, organizers said.
