Bradenton Man Arrested For Alleged Child Porn

BRADENTON, FL – A 29-year-old Bradenton man was arrested on child pornography-related charges following the service of a search warrant and seizure of evidence, the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office said today.

Timothy J. Shoemaker was charged him with 11 counts of alleged sexual performance by a child and one count of alleged transmission of child pornography, the agency said.

The investigation began Dec. 12 "in reference to Shoemaker transmitting child pornography via the internet," the department said. Further investigation led to a search warrant, executed Tuesday, where files purportedly containing a large amount of child pornography were seized, officials said.
