Bradenton Man Hit, Killed By Car While Crossing U.S. 41: FL Troopers
A 74-year-old Bradenton man died after being hit by a car while crossing U.S. 41, Florida Highway Patrol said.
BRADENTON, FL — A Bradenton man died Saturday night after being hit by a car while crossing U.S. 41/14th Street West, Florida Highway Patrol said in a news release.
The car was heading south on U.S. 41, approaching 51st Avenue Drive West, when it hit the 74-year-old man, who was crossing the road in front of the vehicle, just before 10 p.m., FHP said.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver, a 24-year-old Palmetto woman, was uninjured in the crash, which is under investigation.
