Changes to Bradenton Voting Precincts
Make sure to double check your voting precinct before going to the polls. Manatee County dropped 15 precincts this year.

It's election day for registered Republicans voting in the presidential preference primary. The race is down to four republicans, even though the all the talk is about two: Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney. Still Ron Paul and Rick Santorum are on the ballot and still in the running.
This election is for registered Republicans only, so if you signed up as an independent or a Democrat, you can just stay home and sit this one out.
Before heading out to the polls today, Manatee County's Republicans should double check their voting precincts. Last year, in an effort to realign the precincts to fit in with redistricting and to save money and other resources, the Supervisor of Elections eliminated the 15 smallest precincts in the county.

Once Manatee County Commissioners completed redistricting the Supervisor of Elections completed precinct adjustments. Voters affected by the changes should have received a new voter information card from the elections office.
Check your card for polling location information or go to the Supervisor of Elections website to check your precinct by home address or by name. Stay with Patch throughout the day for voter information and election results.
