Bradenton Woman Critically Injured During Motorcycle Accident
A Bradenton woman was ejected from a motorcycle as the driver attempted to make a u-turn near Lakewood Ranch.
BRADENTON, FL — A Bradenton woman was critically injured Friday night when she was ejected from a three-wheeled motorcycle, the Florida Highway Patrol told the Bradenton Herald.
On 10:08 p.m. Friday on Lorraine Road south of 59th Avenue East near Lakewood Ranch, a 48-year-old Bradenton woman fell off a Polaris Slingshot three-wheeler when the driver attempted to make a u-turn.
The woman was transported to Blake Medical Center in critical condition, FHP said. The driver, a 46-year-old man from Bradenton, was uninjured. Troopers said he was wearing a seatbelt, while the injured woman was not.
