Here is what is happening on the bar scene around Bradenton this weekend:
- The second Thursday of the month is always Bike Night at , 5627 14th St. W. Music from DJ Rafferdy and the Street Team Girls and the famous “Penny Til Ya Pee” starts at 10 p.m. with penny drafts — until somebody has to go. No cover.
- It’s Fiesta Friday at , 6218 Cortez Rd. Enjoy tacos for a buck all day, including the bar’s new soft taco. Wash it down with $2 Coronas or Corona Lights. Live music on the Freaky Tiki from 6-10 p.m. from Key West legend Eric Stone and karaoke inside from 9 p.m. until 2 a.m. No cover.
- Live music from the Chris Duarte Group starting at 9:30 p.m. Friday at , 4343 Palma Sola Blvd. This veteran blues rocker has been playing the blues for 17 years and has released nine albums. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. Click here to order tickets online.
