Catch Of The Week: FWC Scientist Boats First Redfish

Conditions: 78-degree water temperature, afternoon, sunny. "Another day in paradise," Markham said.

Quotable: Russo, who has helped the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission raise redfish at the FWC's Stock Enhancement Research Facility in Port Manatee: "I've caught a bunch of those in a net, but never on hook and line, much less on an artificial."
