Charitable Foundation Donates to SCF, Manatee-Sarasota Veterans Services
The State College of Florida Foundation has received $1,825 from the Venice Yacht Club Charitable Foundation to help serve veterans.

The State College of Florida Foundation has received $1,825 from the Venice Yacht Club Charitable Foundation to allow State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) to purchase two computers for the Veterans Services Center at SCF Venice.
The computers are designated for military veterans pursuing workforce degrees and training to access a wide array of services, including online college registration, VA benefits, career information and job opportunities, upper-level course transfer services, veterans’ assistance sites, scholarship opportunities and transportation access. Providing veterans with up-to-date technology will empower them to access vital online resources and assist SCF in its mission to give back to veterans.
Veterans Services has recently expanded its service center in Bradenton. The service centers in both Bradenton and Venice operate out of portable classroom buildings and are in need of donations to help with counseling, career and academic services.
