Suspect In Christmas Eve Shooting At Palmetto Restaurant Turns Self In, Charged: Police

PALMETTO, FL — The suspect in a shooting at Rodney’s Jamaican Grill on Christmas Eve night has turned himself in, Palmetto police shared on Facebook.

Zayron Isom, 30, faces attempted murder charges, according to Manatee County Jail records. He’s being held on a $250,000 bond.

Police identified Isom on Dec. 30, nearly a week after the shooting. At that time, they released a bulletin asking for the public’s help in finding him.
