Man Dies In Water Near Riverwalk Skate Park: Bradenton Police

BRADENTON, FL — Officers are investigating a death near the Riverwalk skate park Thursday afternoon, the Bradenton Police Department wrote in a Facebook post.

A middle-aged man entered the water near the skate park. Attempts were made to rescue him, but he was pronounced dead by emergency responders, the agency said.

The Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the cause of death. There is no indication of foul play, according to police.
