Distillery Tavern Celebrating Last Night in Old Locale
More events this weekend including dollar beers at McKechnie Field, Colt Ford at Joyland and a Black Sabbath tribute at Ace's.

Here are some spots in Bradenton to hang out this weekend:
* Happy hour is a daily occurrence at , 5600 Manatee Ave. W. From 4-7 p.m. on weekdays enjoy $1 draft beers, $1.75 bottles and $5.50 pitchers. If you’re hungry, ask the server about daily food specials.
* A few bucks can go a long way at McKechnie Field, 1611 9th St. W., on a “Thirsty” Thursday night. Small draft beers cost $1 and larger beers and margaritas are 2-for-1 throughout the game. * Country rocker Colt Ford is going to bring down the roof at , 5520 14th St. W., this Friday. Joyland is used to country music heavyweights like Colt: It’s Bradenton’s home to the hottest local and national country music acts. Concert starts at 10 p.m. Get your tickets for $20 at Honda Cars of Bradenton, Joyland's website, or at the door.
, 108 44th Ave. E., is hosting its own building retirement bash starting at 1 p.m. Saturday and festivities are expected to last until the building shuts its doors for the last time early Sunday morning. Live music from Tyson Marshall at 5 p.m. followed by Star 80. The Jack Daniels Girls will be serving free shots of their famous whiskey. The Distillery plans to donate the decorated dollar bills left by customers during the past seven years to Suncoast Charities for Children. Visit the bar between now and Saturday, guess how much money has been taped to the walls over the years and win a prize at the retirement party. No cover.
