Don’t Miss Avenues to the Future at SCF, Manatee-Sarasota

You won’t want to miss the State College of Florida Foundation’s Avenues to the Future, featuring a lobster and filet mignon dinner from Pier 22, specialty drinks from Three Daughters Brewing and Siesta Key Rum and an auction that includes a 7-night island resort stay in Belize, a private chef dinner for eight, or a fourth of July get-a-away on Siesta Key. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 24 at State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota, 5840 26th St. W., Bradenton.

SCF music students will serenade guests as they stroll the Avenues across the campus. Guests will be able to tour the new Library & Learning Center, meet SCF students and faculty and get a behind-the-scenes view of SCF’s top programs. More than 60 silent auction items include pet boarding, a flying trapeze class, a night at the opera, an Alex Rodriguez autographed baseball, a Derrick Brooks autographed football, golf packages and framed landscape and nature prints from Grant Jefferies Photography.
