Employee Shot At Tropicana Plant, Suspect Sought: Bradenton Police
Investigators are looking for the suspect in a Monday night shooting that injured a worker at the Tropicana plant in Bradenton, police said.
BRADENTON, FL — Investigators are looking for the suspect in a Monday night shooting that injured a worker at the Tropicana plant on 9th Street E. in Bradenton, authorities said.
A plant employee, Demitrius Tyrone Bell, 50, entered the facility around 10:30 p.m. and shot a male coworker, according to a Bradenton Police Department news release.
After the shooting, Bell left the plant in a 2015 black Camaro with the Florida license plate QUQF97.

The victim was brought to an area hospital as a trauma alert and is in stable condition Tuesday morning. No other employees were injured, police said.
Investigators believe the two men were involved in a dispute.

Warrants have been issued for Bell, who faces charges of aggravated battery with a firearm and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
