Englewood Seafood & Music Festival

Freshly-cooked food onsite including seafood, meat & vegetarian, assortment of drinks, live musical performances by top regional musicians.

Join us January 27-28, 2018 for a weekend of great food and music as a new tradition in Englewood commences: the Englewood Seafood & Music Festival. Held in Pioneer Park on West Dearborn Street, hours both Saturday and Sunday are 10 am to 6 pm and general admission to the event and live musical performances is FREE. The event is hosted by the Olde Englewood Village Association and the Englewood Community Redevelopment Agency, coordinated with Sarasota County Government.

Creation of the event is approached with the same philosophy as a great meal: the expert selection and combining of ingredients. Delicious foods are cooked onsite by local restaurants and food purveyors using only the freshest ingredients. All seafood dishes are prepared using sustainable ocean resources from the Florida Gulf Coast. Meat entrees and a variety of vegetarian and rice dishes also are on the menus. Alcoholic drinks (beer, wine and mixed-drinks) and non-alcoholic drinks (water, sodas and blended fruit drinks) are available.

Enjoy your meal while listening to some of Florida’s top musical groups. Performances are live on-stage in musical genres from rock, jazz and blues to reggae and steel pan sounds. Musicians and their performance times will be posted to the event website as the event nears. Also enjoy a Marketplace of arts, crafts and fine products.
