Baskets for Breast Cancer - Learn to make a pine needle basket while fighting breast cancer

February 29th is the last day to register for the pine needle basket class being held as a fundraiser for the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure.  Pre-register by calling 352-208-1761.

The class is scheduled for Saturday, March 17, 2012, starting at 1:00 p.m.  The fee of $35.00 includes all materials & instruction to make a beautiful useable pine needle basket.  The fee is tax deductible.  The pine needle basket class is geared to adults of all skill levels, fun, and perfect for a girls afternoon out.

All proceeds benefit Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure to fight breast cancer.   The instructor is walking in the Tampa Bay 3-Day for the Cure in October.  This will be her 4th year to do the walk.  In addition to training for and walking 60 miles over 3 days, all walkers must raise a minimum of $2,300.00 to participate in the walk.  Please help fight breast cancer while learning to make a beautiful basket to take home and enjoy.
