The Claire Lynch Band at "Bluegrass In The Groves"
Claire Lynch, still fresh from her second win as Female Vocalist of the Year at the 2010 International Bluegrass Music Association Awards, will visit Mixon's Fruit Farm on November 4, 2011 with her full ensemble Claire Lynch Band. She will be the first major bluegrass artist to perform in the 'Bluegrass In The Groves' concert series at the beautiful Mixon Fruit Farm.

Recording since she was 19, Lynch has received two Grammy Award nominations, been nominated for IBMA Female Vocalist of the Year 11 times and was previously a member of the bluegrass Front Porch String Band. She has worked with such artists as Dolly Parton, Emmylou Harris, Linda Ronstadt and Pam Tillis, and songs she has written have been recorded by artists such as Kathy Mattea and Patty Loveless. Her most recent album, �Watcha Gonna Do,� was released in September 2009 to positive reviews.

The Concert is located in Mixon's in the Grove Pavilion rain or shine.  Food and drink will be available for purchase.  No coolers please.

Florida favorites HWY 41 SOUTH will open the show at 6:00 p.m. Tickets will be on sale on the day of the show and in advance at http://sarasotabluegrass.ticketleap.com/  Tickets are $15.00.

Directions

I 75 North or South Bound take Exit 220 SR64 West toward Bradenton.  Go 3.8 miles and turn left onto 27^th Street E. Go 1.4 miles and Mixon Fruit Farms is on the left.   The Concert is located in the beautiful Mixon in the Grove Pavilion.  The Pavilion is in the back left corner of the parking lot.  There is a circle drive for easy drop off if needed.
