If you are at least 60 years young (with or without previous theatrical experience),Manatee Players wants you. We are forming a group that will begin by presenting radio shows (so you can read from a script and not have to memorize all those lines). Our DraMature players will be available to perform at the Crosley Estate and at meetings of organizations requesting entertainment.
If you want to find out whether this is for you, we are offering a 4-week workshop in March on Wednesdays. Cost of the workshop, taught by Rick Kerby, will cover the cost of materials. If you decide to join the group after participating, great! If not, you will have spent 4 mornings tapping into your personal creativity and will come away with an increased understanding of acting.
