LWR Community Activities with the support and help from the Italian American Club of LWR is thrilled to host the first Festa Italia! October 6th from 11am to 5:30pm at the Central Park Community Amenities Center off
Lakewood Ranch Boulevard. Join us for a day of traditional food, entertainment, children’s activities, and Italian vendors. The entertainment stage will include our headliner act, opera singer Joe Spinella. He brings with him Marcella Brown who is a 15 year old singing sensation. Enjoy the pleasant sound of The Sarasota Mandolin Orchestra and two performances by the Tarantella Dancers. Everyone enjoys singing Frank Sinatra so we welcome Brian Tennyson who will get the crowd dancing with Frank’s most popular songs. Children will enjoy the splash park and activity gym, making noodle necklaces and tricks from the roaming Magician. Don’t miss the performances of Italian story telling by Giuseppe,
along with the very popular pony rides. Whether you are Italian or not, everyone needs to bring their appetite for the feast of home cooked traditional dishes, just like Grandma’s!  Shrimp Scampi, sausage and peppers, Zeppole, Italian coffee, pastries along with the finest wines and Italian beer, just to name a few. Mangiare!!  What’s a festival without the contests? We love our pets so dress your dog in one of three categories-
prizes will be awarded for each.
