Sarasota-based catering company, Simply Gourmet, is presenting the national theatrical premier of Firesign Theatre's “Nick Danger: Third Eye,” a parody of 1940's radio detective shows about hardboiled private detective characters, such as Sam Spade and Phillip Marlowe. The performance is accompanied by an historic Delmonico's dinner and live vintage music. The event will take place February 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, 29, and March 1, 7 p.m., at the Powel Crosley Estate, 8374 North Tamiami Trail, in Sarasota.
