Oktoberfest

Pier 22 hosts a German Oktoberfestcelebration, on Sunday, October 9, 2011 from 5-9pm on The Patio at Pier 22, 1200 First
Avenue West, Bradenton, FL 34205, telephone 941.748.8087. 

The traditional German feast features bratwurst, wienerschnitzel (breaded sautéed veal), soft baked pretzels, homemade sauerkraut, kâsespätzle (German
cheese pasta), kartoffelsalat (German Potato Salad), apfelstrudel (Old Munich Apple Strudel with Vanilla Sauce), and much more.

Dinner is $19.95 for adults and $12.95 for children 12 and under. The Pier 22 full dinner menu is also available.

Oktoberfest activities include a beer stein holding contest (1 liter stein -32oz- filled with beer Mas Krug, one contest for men and one for women), live music by Euro
Express, dancing, traditional Bavarian decorations, and a German beer tasting event. The beer tasting is $5 and includes a collectible Pier 22 Oktoberfest beer mug.  Prizes are given for the best Lederhosen and best Dirndl, so come dressed for the occasion.

This family-friendly festival takes place on The
Patio at Pier 22
