Realize Bradenton partners with the Pittsburgh Pirates & the Bradenton Marauders to present the FREE Third Annual Pirates Pep Rally Saturday, February 25th from 5:00-7:30 p.m. This event will be held on Old Main Street in Downtown Bradenton.
Fans of all ages will find enjoyable activities at the Pep Rally. There will be autograph sessions with players. Pirates’ Manager Clint Hurdle, Team President Frank Coonelly and Mayor Wayne Poston will be featured speakers. Family games, face-painting, prize giveaways, fantastic food and musical performances are other planned activities.
Johnette Isham, Executive Director of Realize Bradenton, says, “Realize Bradenton is proud to be a coordinating sponsor of the Pep Rally. The Pirates are an important part of Bradenton’s culture and sports are a significant economic driver in Manatee County.”
Bradenton has been the Spring Training home of the Pirates since 1969. The Bradenton Marauders, Pittsburgh’s High-A affiliate, gave Bradenton a Florida State League presence in 2010.
